Pulling on this thread, Landon Thomas Jr., wrote the big profile of Epstein in New York magazine in 2002 where Trump said Epstein liked "beautiful women ... on the younger side."

It turns out in 2016 Thomas told Epstein that someone, he thought Trump, was denying Trump ever made that comment.

Adding this to point out that the NYT is now on the record saying "editors *discovered* his failure to abide by our ethical standards" (emphasis mine)

This strongly suggests a termination for cause, which typically involves an internal investigation. So, what else did his editors "discover"?
Landon Thomas’s behavior seems to be embarrassing enough to the Times hierarchy that they had their spokesman go on record insinuating to the Post that he was fired for cause. I wonder whether legal signed off on that. nypost.com/2025/11/12/u...

The equivalent of what the Americans are going through right now would be me being handed the actual voice recording of DGSE operatives explaining the exact tramadol dose they subreptitiously gave Ronaldo on the evening of 11 July 1998
The only conspiracy theory I've ever believed in trending towards being true is making me feel like I'm going crazy

There were literally congressional hearings where whistleblowers in the insurance industry cried while discussing being forced by superiors to repeatedly illegally deny payment for lifesaving care in the run up to the passage of the ACA. That’s what republicans want us to return to.
Tom Emmer: "You're gonna have to create high risk pools again. Just go back where Minnesota was before the ACA."

From what I remember this is what it was like in late September until the shutdown became The Story.
Let me say for the record that I think Dems making this morning all about Epstein so that all eyes are on the House because of the discharge petition rather than the shutdown ending was really smart.

Amazing how many criminals get together and decide the first order of business is emailing each other about the crimes every three minutes

It’s funny that Harvard has been a consistent target for reactionary campaigns, and not one has been dedicated to ousting Larry Summers, an openly political figure who was friends with Jeffrey Epstein; meanwhile, it’s a fine-toothed comb for *checks notes* Black women.

Really wild how all these Harvard scientists and mathematics guys constantly talked about how Jeffrey Epstein was this brilliant, "misunderstood" man and then you read his emails and he's clearly a barely literate lecher, extremely easy to understand

"JESUS... Is God. JESUS."

"Okay... Thanks!"
