In The Chosen One Con, magic needs a license, and the blue license is the 'highest' level equivalent to a PhD in magic. Mages with this are known as blue mages, and are basically the top mages of their type. Blue mages are allowed to choose a 'mage' name as per their status #Febchantment

In The Chosen One Con, Max and Lyle argue about TV and celebrity life. Is it fun entertainment and not that deep? Is it a distraction from seeing the real horrors of the world, that can be both a good and bad thing? They both make good points.

In The Chosen One Con, Max and Lyle were each other's firsts. But that all fell apart when a riot happened and Lyle was dragged away, never to be seen again... They each assumed the other was dead, until seven years later when they both enter the same mage contest and are surprised!

In The Chosen One Con, magic costs money! Also it's heavily licensed by the Arcanum, and getting a license also costs money. Other than that, there's no technical limit to what magic can do, and in the book we'll see what happens when an all powerful mage lets loose #Febchantment

You know, I don't have as much hope in the future anymore because of rich twats like Musk making life worse for normal people. I'd be more excited if there was more support for people to live their best lives. Musk is contributing to a global sadness.

In The Chosen One Con, spells can be programmed to activate with a variety of commands or actions. Speech is one of them! In fact, one of the characters is an opera singer who 'sings' her commands to cast spells. Another has a pistol and shoots the spells out #Febchantment

How is magic actually performed? What kinds of speech or actions are needed to execute a successful spell? An ancient incantation? A hand sign? Martial arts movements?
Or is it enough simply for the caster to THINK their spell into existence?
