Okay so in The Chosen One Con, we've got enchantments and potions.
Enchantments are made by carving a spell into a 'tablet' that's then connected to an aether crystal, which acts as a power source, and soldered together into whatever item is used to cast the spell; clothing, a wand, a staff, etc.

Still, I definitely get a little bummed when imposter syndrome hits, after I read some amazing stuff.
But I do my best to not let that happen too much. There's a lot of amazing writing out there. If I get upset everytime, well, then, I bet you can guess the rest.

A lot of writers can do amazing things with simpler prose. The text often ends up feeling less pretentious that way.
I mean, I love some crazy amazing wordage, but fancy words aren't the only way to do this. Plus, sometimes, people don't actually know what those words mean.
