The Shadow on the Wall is a poetry book celebrating all things horror and Halloween. There's a humorous bent to most of the poems. A really cool writer described the book as "cozy horror", so I'm leaning into that.

Sunlight penetrated the canopies and dappled the leaf covered path they followed. Moss and various fungi covered as many surfaces as possible. Mushrooms of several hues and species fruited all over. The leaves of the trees swayed softly with the breeze. Rory could not get enough photos of the scenery. He wondered for not the first time if he had enough film for the rest of the hike. To Owen, however, trees were becoming more, somehow, as if scooting closer and closer to block the brothers in. They weren't any taller than the trees from before, and yet, when he looked up, he felt a dizzying, overwhelming sense that he couldn't actually see the leaves of the trees, but the bottom gills of giant mushrooms.

As for my contribution, the piece below is called Moth and Moon.

The event was pretty cool, and then after the pieces were part of an auction to raise foundation funds for the Prism community center. I really love that place. It's so welcoming and amazing.

I also procured this hat! I plan to add more moth and trans elements to it, including non-binary colors. Decorating it will be so much fun!

There's also a really cool tanktop I got that's tie dyed with a moth with tons of eyes. It's my favorite tank top and the graphic has held up!

As for the others, I actually don't know the names of the artists... I need to see if I can find those.

This! I combined two colors to do more of a jewel tone. Next time I'll do a few more tweaks to get it right. Loving it so far anyways!

I haven't been dyeing the natural color of my hair.

I'm sure I'll do full head dyes again. I just really want to watch my grays come in.

Serosh really, really love laundry. Whenever any of us go to the washer and dryer, he bounds over, begging for scritches in one of the baskets. What a silly little guy!

It's me, #WeeknightWriters! The spookiest pickle! Despite being a pickle, I have hands. And I use them to do things - like writing. And crimes.

My WIP is a part terror, part delight, anthology called 'Fairy Seasons". It's one 20+ projects to be a part of @the-book-bazaar.com.

Today's #Repostober is a fun little thing I did.

I have some really chalky watercolors I've been messing around with and wanting to use up. I decided to do a little art therapy and did some splatter paint via rainbow colors.
