I feel this way about pretty much all vaccine-preventable infectious diseases. You shouldn't be allowed to dump cyanide into municipal drinking water and you shouldn't be allowed to recreationally spread viruses around shared public spaces.

In a desperate attempt to not yuck someone's yum, I've muted any mention of Wuthering Heights or Emily BrontΓ«. I get that folks like it and I don't want to ruin that for anyone, but I also do not want to see any of it π

Thanks. I'm not super optimistic about the school (it's been one issue after another with them) but kiddo is out of it come May and on to high school, so that's a relief at least!

i think nominating Gavin Newsom will lose the White House again for Democrats. The party's left flank will stay home again because he's an empty corporate shell. The age of Democrats punching left to appeal to the center is over and it's now a matter of if the party as a whole realizes that or not.

I literally have a colleague who has sued the school district for their absolutely garbage treatment of her kiddo who has disability accommodations. It's ridiculous.

Holy CRAP π± That is ridiculous! And I really am an advocate for letting the kiddos play what they like. I feel like the whole point of gym is to be active; one doesn't have to do it in any sort of IMPACT way

Two ER visits in two days for the kiddo. One ER basically said kiddo was "fine" and had no concussion, despite having a lot of nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Different ER (we are lucky enough to live that close to two hospitals) said YES, CONCUSSION, LOTS OF REST.
I'm tired, y'all.
