Extra: The closer a mage can make magic to the pattern or norm, the less likely they are to face repercussions.

Example: Making money our of thin air? No. The ATM gives you a few more 20s than you requested, well, isn't that a lucky break πŸ˜‰

This usually means if a mage was REALLY pushing it (a 10ft ball of fire out of thin air, perhaps), the pattern may snap violently back in the fastest way possible (i.e. an explosive ejection of that heat energy) and severely burning them & anyone in the area.

The way magic is structured (i.e. the energy innate in every single thing), it follows patterns. Depending on how far a mage tries to manipulate something outside of those patterns, "reality" or the original pattern might snap back and attempt to return to its former state (1/2)
