Gravity's Fire is mostly accepting, especially with the teens, but there are some adults who aren't as accepting. This stems from both my own experience and that magic being hereditary means some magic families encourage selective partnering.

In Gravity's Fire, I have many of the teens be queer but not the adults, with the main exception of Lex's dads. Part of this is to emphasize a divide between them and part is that my own experience has been with queer young people whose parents aren't.
