This is incredibly problematic because it’s the first step towards also going after protest medics and jail support teams. Giving people masks when cops are launching tear gas every night is not a crime, it’s common sense protection.
Really bad: Right wing narratives are moving from merely stigmatizing personal protective equipment to portraying it as proof of intent and participation.

Bad indeed. Regardless of what you think about PSL specifically, this is a threat to any group that helps organize & support protests. You can’t — & shouldn’t — control every agitator who shows up.
