They've been told that racism is wrong but they've also been told that the views they hold are right. So if the views they hold are right then they can't be racist because that is wrong
This, from The Londoner yesterday, also features people on the march who claim not to be racists. Though the things they say prove otherwise

See people saying that Palace had all summer to sign a replacement for Guehi.

Similarly, Liverpool had all summer to put in a serious bid.

We should have pushed the boat out for Glasner and enjoyed the climax before he goes somewhere bigger.

Genuinely possible to win at least two trophies this season with him, Guehi in situ and some clever additions.

Get the glory and then worry about the weather afterwards.

Killed by caution.

I turn on my TV and a TV presenter is asking a Govt minister why they are talking about rolling out free childcare when the big issue is asylum hotels. This is objectively insane.

Crystal Palace's last 10 games have included Arsenal away, Liverpool away, Chelsea away, Spurs away, FA Cup semi-final vs Villa, FA Cup final vs Man City, Community Shield vs Liverpool. They are unbeaten in all those 10 games and won 2 trophies. Oliver Glasner 📈👑

If the laws governing your game allow for the fudges by Red Bull and CFG but not for the scenario Palace and Lyon find themselves in, you really should let this one slide and reassess your regulations.

I’m increasingly convinced that Textor and Marinakis have some kind of informal agreement which sees Textor attempt to scupper Palace’s Europa League entry in return for over-inflated player purchases between Forest and Lyon.

Manchester City, charged with breaking Premier League financial and other rules for about a decade, have managed to commit more than 300 million pounds on new players since January. While the club denies the allegations, this thing has been hanging around now for seven years. Not a good look.

PSG being fuelled by electric and likable young players shouldn't overshadow how the club came to be where it is now. They don't subjugate Ligue 1 without the Qatar takeover. Sportswashing works.
PSG were an irrelevance in European football until a state-backed project transformed them into a symbol of modern football’s moral drift - soft power, sportswashing, and influence beyond the pitch. Good as they are, success built on that model leaves a bitter taste.

It demonstrates just how far this country has sunk into the gutter when the mob’s first concern isn’t the dead, dying or injured in Liverpool - but the ethnicity of the criminal so they can weaponise it to push a racist agenda.

It is so fucking shameful.

The absolute antithesis of patriotism.
