...Looking forward to the #StarTrek novel where I get to write: "'The *Mark Kelly* was closest before this shit blew up, but she was called away. So now *Enterprise* is stuck with it..." 😄
Looks like somebody's just reslized that, if they're not REALLY CAREFUL, this man could be the next President of the United States. 😏
Sen. Mark Kelly has released a statement.

"If this is meant to intimidate me and other members of Congress from doing our jobs and holding this administration accountable, it won't work. I've given too much to this country to be silenced by bullies..."

I hope all the people freaking out about AI in art are also boycotting third party travel sites because I work in hospitality and ALL of them are using AI agents in some form or another.

Every now and then, especially when the seasons change, some poor mouse gets into my house.

They don't stay long.

Three cats. It looks something like this. Lol.
A moth got into the shelter tonight and it was the event of the season.

Adam Sandler needs to stop checking in on this guy and just dump him in a garbage heap where he belongs.
every passing day, rightwingers are inventing new and unexpected ways to signal to the world they may be the dumbest iteration of humans so far

I hate how right I turned out to be about this guy. But honestly...this is who he always was.

The man would attach 'progressive' things to bills for show then do eff all to get them passed.

He was always in it for show and for himself.

So I got this today. I'm not the person it was meant for, Gmail can't understand periods apparently (shock).

Being myself bi and Christian, I gave them an earful, but someone should at least give that library a heads up.

Translation: they were not drug runners, and the Trump administration is randomly murdering innocent fishermen.

They have showed absolutely ZERO evidence to back up their “drug runner” claims.
Breaking News: The Trump administration has decided to repatriate two survivors of a deadly U.S. strike this week on suspected drug runners in the Caribbean Sea rather than prosecute them or hold them in military detention, people with knowledge of the matter said on Saturday.

The U.S. military rescued the two men in the Caribbean Sea after Special Operations forces fired on a semi-submersible that was assessed to be smuggling drugs.

I picked up a hardcover in Walmart a few weeks ago.

It was almost 40 before taxes.

It's not about the boycott. As long as prices rise while wages don't...

Start pressuring your elected officials, whichever country you're in, if wages don't start rising soon, it's going to get a lot worse.

This reminds me of how David Lynch said he wanted to keep working but couldn’t because COVID posed too great a risk & people stopped being willing to mask up to protect others.

Ableism is an insidious evil in society & healthcare. It convinces us to abandon each other for profit & convenience.
Enjoyed the New Yorker interview with Tim Curry, a free-wheeling conversation in which there were several sensitive questions about his paralyzing stroke. But oh my goodness, why was there no follow-up at all to this staggering answer? www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...

Also? Getting comfortable enough with failure that failure no longer crushes you is like a basic survival skill if you’re hypersensitive/have anxiety, and the only way to do that is to just go ahead and fail repeatedly
