This is why "survival if the fittest" and anti-universal healthcare/foodstamps/govt program genuinely piss me off. The whole POINT of living in a society is to make things easier for EVERYONE.

Apparently there was another one in Australia--a much rarer occurrence. I expect them to actually pass effective legislation, as they did 30 years ago.
At least American stubbornness/wilfull ignorance is good for one thing: showing other countries what NOT to do.
