I hope all the people freaking out about AI in art are also boycotting third party travel sites because I work in hospitality and ALL of them are using AI agents in some form or another.

I think it does, but it’s angry. My mobility is angry to get out. But it’s not happened yet. I do a certain amount of physical therapy. I did a whole bunch of it at Cedars-Sinai, and I got very close, I think, to walking. That was tantalizing. For insurance reasons, I had to withdraw. And I have a visiting physical therapist now, but I can only really do exercises from my bed, which is pretty pathetic. It’s not going to get me walking, I don’t believe.

people don’t realize that there are things that they need to practice to get better at them
they think it should be easy so they keep just trying occasionally and then deciding it’s not for them

Also? Getting comfortable enough with failure that failure no longer crushes you is like a basic survival skill if you’re hypersensitive/have anxiety, and the only way to do that is to just go ahead and fail repeatedly
