One underated thing is I think drivers are probably pissed at the endless useless Turnpike expansions that they don't want or need.
Drivers using the NJ Turnpike have seen an almost 50% total toll increase and those using Garden State Parkway, almost a 40% increase since 2020. www.nj.com/news/2025/11...

Both Gov. Phil Murphy and Gov.-Elect Mikie Sherrill were call on to stop the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's 3% annual toll increase as costs and inflation increases.

Today I broke out the good watercolor paper and painted a full size trauma dumpling. Not sure how I feel about the lettering and composition, but I'll sleep on it and decide tomorrow if I want to use it. I'll either try again or get a hi res scan and start slapping it on tshirts.

Sure. "The Grand Jury did not see the operative indictment" is the kind of fuckup where lawyers literally don't actually know what happens next because it SO fundamental a thing that it is LITERALLY possible nobody had even thought of this as a thing that could happen.

NJ Turnpike Authority do not care about affordability for NJ, even though they are a public agency and report to the governor. We are being force fed an $11B highway widening in Hudson County, when instead we could fund NJ Transit or pay $$ back to taxpayers #turnpiketrap @mikiesherrill.bsky.social
