There's this truck stop outside St Cloud, Minnesota, that has bison burgers. The buns could be improved upon, but the burgers could not.

Also I bought the best avocado I've eaten in my life at a grocery store in Barcelona to eat on bread for lunch. It was a religious experience.

After probably over a year, mere HOURS before @ktsimpson.bsky.social 's arrival, I have FINISHED the book sleeve I promised her ages ago.

It is not perfect.

But it certainly turned out better than all the times I thought, "well this'll never work."

As happens every time I crochet / sew a thing.

DoJ massacre underway. Yesterday four attorneys quit because the DoJ refused to investigate Jonathan Ross, and today another six quit because they refused to unjustly prosecute Renee Good's widow.

Pretty soon DoJ's going to be nothing but a fascist clown car full of Liberty U grads.

I'm a traditional artist working mostly in watercolor plus gouache and ink. My favorite things to paint are critters and decorative art, and I especially love when they meet. Oh, and I painted the trauma dumpling.
