Haven't painted for a while because of vision problems (mostly cleared up now), but I broke out the #watercolor for a birthday card. I'm never going to be a calligrapher, but it felt good to get the brush out.

I had to scroll way back to find my dirty faced shoulder lizard photo! It's always nerve wracking when she climbs over the back of my neck because I'm afraid she'll fall.

Amazing 🧵 describing how Judge Sara Ellis dog walked Greg Bovine. I've seen criticism that her orders haven't been restrictive enough, but to me she looks like a very smart judge who keeps feeding rope to DHS, who have ignored her mild "wear body cams and give warning before using tear gas" order.

The whole family just went together to get our flu and covid vaccinations. (Due to schedules, this is the start of our weekend.) 🎉

I wasn't fast enough to get video before Grendel woke up, but we were able to see the lizzer moving her eye in REM sleep. She was probably dreaming about crickets. #herps

Spent yesterday at Necronomicon Tampa and got to listen to Seanan McGuire talk about cryptids (her brain is a treasure), saw and bought some really neat art, and got this picture of Timothy Zahn absolutely delighted at making a new bird friend. Tiny con, highly recommend!
