Upside-down-swimming-pool levels of rain today and still unseasonably warm for November. Still, I’m sure this has nothing whatsoever to do with climate change and everything is in fact normal and fine 😩🤪🤔

Just been sent this comment on my pod with Zack Polanski where I talk about seeing a mumsnet thread questioning whether I was AFAB. I’ve also seen a screenshot of a text from a GC campaigner being really mean about my ‘masculine’. body type. Also, I am a middle aged woman. Apart from that, spot on.

There's lots you can and should criticise the BBC for.

But it's our BBC - and it's important.

Great to speak to CNN - Donald Trump shouldn't have his hands anywhere near our public services.
Zack Polanski on President Trump, "It's difficult to call him anything other than a fool"

"This is sociopathic behaviour"

"He is toxic, misogynistic, racist"

"I'm not a fan of Trump"

Christiane Amanpour, "It's pretty clear"

This is true. In 1975, inflation was nosing 20%. Otoh, it was also the last time a chancellor put up the basic rate of inflation.
"What is certain, and felt instinctively by almost everybody, is that things cannot go on in their present way" – The Times, May 1975

“It is difficult to imagine a previous period when such an all-pervasive hopelessness was exhibited at all levels of British life” – Professor Stephen Haseler, 1975

Just heard a brilliant soundbyte from Natasha Devon
“If you are informed and have empathy it’s a terrible time to be alive.
And then you have people who are informed but have no empathy who are manipulating people who have empathy but are not informed”

So the Epstein estate have released emails which appear to show Trump is more embroiled in the scandal that he has previously claimed ….

Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

😂😂😂😂😂
Sorry shouldn’t laugh because so much is at stake but the idea that the solution to the failure of Blue/Neoliberal/Blairite/Trying-to-please-everyone-and-pleasing-no-one Labour is to replace Starmer with Wes Streeting is so ridiculous.

This is brilliant! Work of @natashadevon.bsky.social must inform @greenparty.org.uk education policy. Discussion of the Right blaming Lockdown, rather than their education policies, for rise in young people experiencing mental health problems is very pertinent!
Our education system isn't working.

Natasha Devon breaks down exactly how we got here in tomorrow's episode of Bold Politics with Zack Polanski.

Oh good, the ‘your (sic) not even British!’ comments are out in force today over on my Instagram.

If I’m not British, how come I’m shit at small talk, say sorry when someone steps on my foot and have a deep and enduring love for sarcasm? Hmmmm?

I agree that the BBC should apologise to Trump for being misleading.

Right after Trump apologises for the 30,573 false or misleading claims he made during his first presidency, or for each of his current daily average of 21 new lies per.

Some of the people on my road have their Christmas decorations up already and I think GOOD FOR THEM trying to create some kind of superficial, sparkly joy to counteract the hideousness of the stupid, cruel world we’re currently living in.

My rather brilliant friend Professor Keon West* has done a TEDx talk about the evidence showing people who say they’re ’colourblind’ are actually more likely to be racist. You can watch it here - youtu.be/o6wx_UwB4AA
