i think the plan is to eek out a marginally robust economy by simultaneously obviating 90% of all human jobs with AGI and shrinking the population by 90% through a variety of pro-death, anti-immigrant, anti-natalism policies across the same AGI timeframe
america's working age population was going to be sort of a crunch in the 2030s. now it may become a problem, like, this year.

The entire developed world is converging on anti-immigrant policies at a time when the entire developed world has implosion-worthy birthrates. You do not want to see what happens to a nation when its population halves every ~65 years.

Worth noting that it's not necessarily their fault they have to act this way under capitalism.
But if they are like, "oh no I love IP yum yum yum I want to be the next Rowling or Wendig" then that's a sign of very bad head syndrome.

maybe it's good that students become entirely dependent on corporations for thinking. afterall, college is a scam, surely a corporate monopoly on the tools of thought itself can't be a bad thing, certainly never as bad as college

im starting to think part of the reason why an anti-corruption party doesn't exist yet is that our institutions on the East Coast (mostly NYC and DC) are SO corrupt that they are using MICE + sex to actively subvert any attempts at meaningfully fighting corruption
