one of the reasons, to be clear, many of us are so happy is not because this is some kind of justice (it's not) but because Kissinger was *still advising politicians* and his influence was *still going*, so his death means his self-interested fuckwad self won't be on the phone with the Sec of State.

From pathogens to wildfires we have seen the need for improving air quality. The Biden administration considered plans to clean indoor air to assist with pathogen protection in 2021. Unfortunately by 2022 they preferred to pretend the pandemic was over.

I wish that every time somebody died of a treatable illness because they couldnt afford treatment we would publicly shame all the politicians who took even a dollar from the health insurance industry and pharma. The same way we do with the NRA and school shootings.

really cool how all those years of pandemic related isolation was so loosely enforced in america that the virus never went away, scientific literacy plummeted, & all that really happened is that everybody became 40% worse at normal human interaction
