They aren't 'distancing' themselves, actually. This is all we have to infer that by. This is a very inappropriate title meant to have us look the other way and make sure they get our money and info. Unless they stop entirely, fuck Discord entirely.

Fun fact:

This is how you earn trans peoples votes
My Trans Bill of Rights protects the freedom for all trans people to live as their full, authentic selves. It’s time to get this passed!

There’s going to be Covid style shortages of cars, TVs and even washing machines and fridges, then job losses because assembly lines can’t source solid state memory, just so the stupidest person you know can state with 100% confidence a chatbot confirmed dinosaurs coexisted with humans.
I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.

So one of the Newsom defenders posted a list of pro-trans bills that Newsom signed since the Charlie Kirk interview in order to try to defend him.

I had a hunch so I looked them up.

All of them were passed by the legislature with Veto-Proof majorities.

Every. Single. One.

I dunno. I mean, I've been posting for over 30 years, so in that sense, probably. On the other hand, I mostly like posting to hang out with people, and if I was obscenely rich, I could afford to hang out with my friends in cooler places than the computer.
Every now & then I see people post things like “if I suddenly got rich, you’d never hear from me again, all my socials will be deleted,” etc.

Are we forgetting everything we know about wealth, power & unaccountability? You would post constantly. Trivially. Self-destructively. Like rich people do!

The Boston press did this to Roger Clemens when they wanted to make him look especially stupid after he falsely claimed he had been misquoted and the Pittsburgh media did this to Roberto Clemente (and called him Robby over his objection) because they were racist.

I keep trying to get people to explain this to people.

There is no part of the Trump project that Labour isn't enthusiastically pursuing, with the exception that rather than building new camps we are either repurposing military bases or sending people to other nations for holding.
Brits lesser evil-ed Starmer into power and in the UK we now have the erosion of trans and disability rights, an arming of genocide, a ramping up of anti immigration rhetoric in Labour circles, widespread facial ID, etc etc
