We are where we are now largely due to repeated attacks on democracy from the Democratic Party, including rigging primary rules to get more conservative candidates since the 1980s & more blatant intervention in 2016, 2020 & 2024. Without this Trump would have never been elected.

It is hard to believe after all we have seen the last five years that there are people who still think that the Democrats are anything more than controlled opposition, or that things would be significantly different if Harris won the election--beyond her doing the same in a more joyful manner.
