The Big Bang isn't the background noise of the universe, it's the ghosts of sentient beings screaming forever in the dark.

I can't get over studios having a successful, original *ensemble mystery* franchise on their hands and not caring about making more money off of it. It's not even a question of getting distracted by AI bullshit, it's a six-year-old series!
For that matter, giving this and Wake Up Dead Man actual wide releases, when I saw this in theaters the three days Netflix allowed it to play, the screening was packed.
My big opinion about that movie is that if Hollywood were still functional some executive would’ve slammed a fist down on his desk & shouted, “Put that Janelle Monae in EVERYTHING!”

I only know about this through family lore: the family dachshund once made off with the entire (yet to be cooked) turkey; they finally found him in the laundry room with his little butt wiggling out from the turkey's neck hole while he munched away at the inside

It was a tur-dachshund
yes, hello, I would like to place an order for everyone’s funniest stories of holiday food-related family grudges / drama / chaotic incidents / lore

I feel like we need this

A sign I need to watch Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss.
Sometimes I think about these scenes and how unfortunately necessary they are.

Moxxie and Charlie are bisexual but still have to explicitly state it only for the fandom to say Moxxie is straight and Charlie is a lesbian.

Stop erasing bisexuality.

In Mussolini's Italy, the fascist movement was obsessed with people wearing suitable attire in all social settings. Thomas Mann describes this brilliantly in one of his novellas. The fact that transportation secretary Duffy obsesses over how one should dress to fly in an airplane, while being
Sean Duffy: "Dressing with respect -- whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a little better which encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let's try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport."

DB Cooper day reminds me of one of my fave Leverage episodes & a fave Loki bit.
On November 24, 1971, a man using the name Dan Cooper boarded a flight from Portland, Oregon, to Seattle.

This marked the beginning of a legendary but unsolved heist, a cold case that’s among the most infamous criminal mysteries in American history. 🧵⬇️

I love this show so much. The original Nathan Detroit was played by Sam Levene. He wasn't really a singer but they made the music work for him.
