Why would the ACE survey be given out as a screening questionnaire for new patients at a mental health office? Didn't it serve its purpose in 1998 when it paved the way for more research? It's not a diagnostic tool, and correlation doesn't equal causation so what are we doing here?

Can we stop perpetuating the idea that people convicted of felonies are bad people, unqualified for intelligent, important, or skilled work and unable to be trusted? All of those descriptors accurately sum up our dearest leader, but not *because* he's a person convicted of felonies.
