My co-worker spent hours trying to track down a book that a patron had asked about, going through all our interlibrary loan resources. Nothing.

Turns out the patron had asked ChatGPT for book recs and it made up some titles and summaries. The book did not exist.
Every time someone says they used chatgpt to find some info, they're actually telling you that they have never been punched hard in the face.

In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: The police, who commit crimes, and the mayor, who commits crimes.

Picked up the Zebra Sarasa vintage color packs from Jetpens. I don’t think any will replace Uni Signo blue-black as my daily driver but nice to have the variety.

“Money can’t buy happiness” factoid actually just statistical erorr. Average person’s life would be vastly improved with more money. Elon Musk, who is the richest man in the world and wasting billions on trying to get people to find him funny is an anomaly and should not be counted.

Back in 2000, I was looking to move to another state. My employer (that I was planning to telecommute for) was a small business and their medical insurance was through a state-run program. They asked me to see if I could get medical coverage on the market. >>
I would like to note for folks who don't remember pre-ACA that anything can be a pre-existing condition. Diabetes. Depression. High cholesterol. Acne. ANYTHING.
JD Vance let slip: One of the “concepts” of the Trump-Vance plan is to screw over people with pre-existing conditions, specifically.

In the parlance of those upon Fraternity Row, "Dude, what the hell, dude." followed two seconds later with "*Dude*."

Why yes, this is the Californian equivalent of "May the good Lord see fit to bless their heart with His light", why do you ask?
