This is troubling for multiple reasons, but one big one is companies won’t want to invest in R&D and clinical trials if they don’t think they can get a fair regulatory review—which is at the end of a long and extremely expensive process.

#STLCards fans: this is a good interview with Cardinals Farm Director Rob Cerfolio. Lots of prospect talk & analysis. Thanks to @davidlaurila.bsky.social for doing it.
line from Rob Cerfolio's interview at FanGraphs is gonna stick with me for awhile bc so much of public player evaluation has turned the other way: "We’re not solving for Double-A performance. We’re solving for major league impact."

I love this hilarious scenario in which the U.S. economy is doing better than at any point in its entire history and yet we have to tell people it's doing well.
Trump: "I'm popular and I've done well. I think we have the greatest economy, actually, ever in history. We have to get the word out."

Like 75% of the US Olympic curlers are from Minnesota. A lot of them curl out of two clubs in Saint Paul, one club is in Frogtown, a neighborhood that has been very heavily targeted by ICE. These curlers are good neighbors.
US Olympic Curling Team member speaks out against ICE:

"I'm proud to represent Team USA. But we'd be remiss if we didn't mention what's going on in Minnesota and what a tough time it's been. What's happening is wrong. There's no shades of gray."

Glad to see communities protecting and helping their birds like this. 🪶
Scotland has passed a law that all new buildings must install ‘swift bricks’ which are hollowed out bricks to help nesting swifts and other endangered birds! Swifts are especially endangered because so many chimneys now have chimney caps. Swifts return to the same nesting spot year after year.

Does anyone else have an MST3K line they use regularly, even if it makes no sense out of context?

Because I have both "That'll keep your panfish down for a while." and "Come come, boys, we must confound Jerry at every turn!" from MST3K the movie alone.
