🧵Shock Doctrine is a social control strategy that uses recurrent shocks to make people feel overwhelmed & easier to conquer. To inflict suffering, push us into submission, or prompt us to rise up against our oppression in a way the fascist regime can use as an excuse to institute martial law.
What is something that brought you Joy today?
I got all my potted plants in the greenhouse. It's going to freeze tonight. I went around my garden, taking pictures, gathering the last fall veggies and telling my squashes and tomatoes and flowers goodbye and that I love them and am grateful.

Respectfully, it’s not “centrists vs progressives.” That’s the old way of thinking. It’s “institutionalists/establishment” vs “populists/fighters.”

At the end of the day, ALL OF THIS comes back to Schumer! The man works for billionaires and airline execs and grocery store magnates and Israel but he sure as shit does not work for the American People!

Democrats scheduled their surrender for after the election so people wouldn't be mad at dems during the election but they planned this surrender for the billionaire airline and grocery store buddies, even though it's going to kill people. I am so pissed at Schumer and the weaksauce enablers.

Chuck Schumer cut his request for ACA extension back to only one year for that extension ... then he cut that request entirely. Why? Because Chuck Schumer is WEAK and UNWISE! That man has to go!

Sens. Angus King (I-Maine), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) and Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) cut a deal with Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) to make reopen government and deprive medical care to many Americans, a lot of whom will suffer and die. These dems just pissed away all power.

The first time I ever kissed Furiosa the Feral on the forehead, after years of working up to it, she heard the little smack and went, "Eeeep!" and ran away to hide.
Today I can hold her and kiss her, and kiss her, and kiss her again! And she loves it and purrs and purrs.

Kim Kardashian failed her bar exam and is blaming Chat GPT. There is so much wrong with this statement I don't even know where to start but I guess Chat GPT is good for something after all. Otherwise Donald Trump would likely have hired her as an Assistant Director of the Justice Dept.

Two nights ago my friend Jenevra from Bleps and Beans rescued this blind kitty who'd been on the streets for a year. A lady had been feeding her but is scared of cats so never got close enough to realize she was blind. Two days later, the person fostering said they're in love and she's keeping her!
