I do this too, equal parts eggs, milk and flour by volume. I mix them up and then let the mixture sit in the fridge for a few hours. Heat a small amount of oil in muffin pan for 15 mins at 450 F, then bake at 450 for 15 mins, then lower to 375F and bake another 15 mins or so.

I feel it is important that we honor British film pioneer George Albert Smith. Yes, he helped pioneer editing, closeups, science fiction films, etc. but I think we can all agree that his greatest contribution was as an early trailblazer in the Cat Video genre.

This one is even worse.
Trump: I am fine. You sound beautiful and cute. How old are you?

Caller: I am eight

OMG. He just can't let up, not even for one day.
Trump: We track Santa. We want to make sure that Santa is being good. We want to make sure that he's not infiltrated, that we're not infiltrating into our country a bad Santa. Santa loves Oklahoma like I do. You know, Oklahoma was very good to me in the election

And then there's this. A lot of naturalized US citizens who live in Canada would happily give up their citizenship so they no longer have to file tax returns etc. I'm guessing that's not who they'll be targeting.
#Denaturalization is one of the most complex legal processes in the federal system. It requires investigation, evidence, due process, and federal court involvement. You cannot lawfully process 200 denaturalization cases a month. www.npr.org/2025/12/24/n...
Trump administration wants to set quota for denaturalizing American citizens
The Trump administration says it wants to establish a quota for next year to denaturalize up to 200 American citizens per month.

My family immigrated to the USA in 1969 when I was 5 years old. I earned a Ph.D. and both of my brothers earned masters. My two children are employed on Wall Street and at a tech company in SF. Luckily for Stephen Miller, I moved to Canada 20 years ago so he doesn't have to worry about me.
“the children of immigrants who have arrived to the US since the 1960s consistently learn fluent English, obtain more education than their immigrant parents & achieve higher earnings, showing strong patterns of integration,”

Don’t turn right into the parking lane, just f*ing wait until there is a break in the traffic.
Let’s air those grievances. I want to hear your pettiest gripes on this the holiest of days.

I used to hate Christmas in Vancouver because I grew up in Ottawa where December is usually snowy. Here, it's usually raining. But now I think it's kind of charming that everyone here still does Christmas activities in the rain because they're so determined to have a good time.

We're at day 22 of #artAdventCalendar.

630 participants have posted nearly 8000 images.

An average of 360 per day.

97% of them have AltText.

If we can do it. So can you.
IN VALEN'S NAME, USE ALT TEXT FOR YOUR IMAGES.

You want to prove you're down for progressive causes? Do the most basic fucking thing ever and use alt-text. Also, use it to describe the image and provide context so that the people who rely on alt-text can experience your image as intended.

This morning I learnt another great example of why units matter - the flight of Air Canada 143 ran out of fuel at an altitude of 41.000ft.The Pilots managed to glide the plane down safely with their 70 passengers. The jet had been loaded with 22,300 pounds of jet fuel instead of 22,300kg
