Some of the best years of my life happened while living in Belgium under a SOFA agreement while I was in the Army.
I was able to travel and work in the Benelux, Germany, all over Europe.
Locals welcomed us through broken spoken French and other languages.
And now it's going to be gone.

Just in case you wanted to be even more upset with our Government's policy on immigrants; These Afghans were our most steadfast allies for the better part of 20 years. The possibility of them being detained in an ICE facility (or anyone) is horrible. Going back is death.
