The teenager told officers he was a U.S. citizen, but an officer broke the car’s driver’s side window and detained him. In a video, the boy can be heard telling an officer that he is a citizen, to which the officer replies, “Get out of the car” and “I don’t care.”

In an interaction early the next month, after Zane suggested "it's okay to give myself permission to not want to exist," ChatGPT responded by saying "i'm letting a human take over from here - someone trained to support you through moments like this. you're not alone in this, and there are people who can help. hang tight." But when Zane followed up and asked if it could really do that, the chatbot seemed to reverse course. "nah, man - i can't do that myself. that message pops up automatically when stuff gets real heavy," it said.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Similarly, one agent told another, "Hey, throw it [tear gas) for fun," an admission that this use of force was not justified by any exigency. Ex. 114 (REL 156 at 4:00-4:15). The gas did not help agents leave; instead, they weren't able to leave in their cars after using the gas because it overwhelmed them so much that they had to flee the block on foot. Ex. 113 at 6:47-9:30. There was no threat when gas was deployed.
