‘We Will Beat These Monsters’: Lindsey Boylan Reacts to Cuomo’s Defeat
The former Cuomo aide was the first of eleven women to publicly denounce the disgraced governor for sexual harassment.

I wanna remind folks that Melissa‘s dad runs the firm that Errol‘s wife works for and he does not acknowledge this even as he gives these interviews to people who have no business getting airtime anymore
Ah yes, the famously egoless Andrew Cuomo…

Also, her justification for Cuomo staying in the race is absolute nonsense.

This woman is a menace — and not the fun kind.

Who should be the next Democratic Senate Leader? Warren, Warner, Blumenthal, Murray, or Booker?

I'm not afraid to go with someone a bit older. We don't need them there for a very long time and become a lifer like Schumer or McConnell did. It should be a revolving door.
Chuck Schumer must be replaced as leader since he cannot keep his caucus in line.
America is in the midst of a Republican-made health care crisis—a crisis so severe, so urgent, and so devastating for American families that I cannot support a continuing resolution that fails to address it.

We’ve all gotten to know of Elle’s tremendous work during the campaign. There couldn’t be a better choice there.

Having worked around Dean at state I also want to sing his praises as a talented leader and a good choice for this job.
Less than a week after his historic win, Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani has announced his first top appointments, naming Dean Fuleihan as first deputy mayor and Elle Bisgaard-Church as chief of staff.

Did you know: Zohran, Brad Lander, and Adrienne Adams *all* would have got more votes than Cuomo in the ranked-choice primary?

The organized bloc-vote enabled Z to focus on winning. @dreamfornyc.bsky.social, @lindseyboylan.bsky.social, and ✨especially @nywfp.bsky.social✨ organized this bloc-vote.

Lots of people who work on the Hill do not understand how politics works, as Senate Dems clearly demonstrated yesterday. And it doesn’t matter how long Dems “hold out” next time - Republicans know they can outlast them because Dems will always chicken out.

No. Go away.
It’s not a fold, it’s a strategic regrouping that decouples the next shutdown on Jan 30 from SNAP funding (which will now be funded for the fiscal year). It gives them much more space to hold out much longer in two months.

A "centrist" I know made the same theory as MSNBC and even went so far as to agree with that stance and I'm like "so you're ok with risking people's health to salvage public image, that's cowardly shit" and I still stand by my stance.

Admittedly, I’m too plugged in sometimes. But to be that oblivious, when it is his literal job to be plugged into what his constituents are feeling?

That takes effort.

An obvious question that must be asked of Schumer immediately and repeatedly. Why did eight members of your caucus vote with the GOP instead of the majority of Senate Democrats and what is your reaction? (In reality, I'm very sure, Schumer was in agreement with that choice--his no vote is phony.)

This coward needs to be gone and every single one who agrees with him
MSNBC reported Schumer's office felt that the longer that shutdown went on, the more likely it was that people would start to blame the Dems.

My kingdom for Democrats that don't govern out of fear. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The American people are far braver than their reps.
