Two weeks ago there was pretty broad commentary that Trump has suffered significant mental deterioration.
Maybe we should keep that in mind when trying to make sense of anything he does now and not revert to 2016-era framing that attempts to claim he has some sort of coherent plan.

I've said this before but if you want to actually, steadily, reliably lose weight the two greatest tools you can add to your arsenal are a kitchen scale that measures in grams and a good calorie-tracking app.
The willpower to use them, unfortunately, can't be bought ... but having them helps!

yep, and i think this is entirely a product of a fiction that has consumed so many american elites, which is that trump is the tribune of the authentic people and it would be untoward to hold him legally accountable without a political verdict from those people
trump committed endless crimes before, during, and after his presidency, and every single institution with even the slightest smidge of responsibility for seeing that the laws are upheld or otherwise opposing him have said to the people in a nearly singular voice: "this is your problem, not ours"
