Another eye opening, jaw dropping, mask grabbing episode.

Can we at least save our kids?

Pennies on the dollar for cleaner, safer air in schools, our homes.
Today on Volts: for years, I've wanted to do a podcast on indoor air quality, and I finally found the perfect guest! Dr. Lagoudas & I discuss indoor air pollutants, the policies and technologies that can control them, and the growing need to frame indoor air quality as a basic human right.
What's the deal with indoor air quality?
From CO2 monitors to better building codes, Dr. Georgia Lagoudas outlines how to clean up the spaces where we spend 90% of our lives.

Big Rail. Monopolistic. Virtually unchecked power governed by antiquated, century old laws.
The world keeps reminding me of one of the best news days, for me, a person obsessed with both legal justice and trains. And I had been working at a firm that represented injured rail workers or their survivors. Sometimes the bad guys get caught.

Congrats Mpls! The city's achievement is not just about cycling, it's about creating a more inclusive, accessible, affordable, &safer city.

District 61a is lucky to be home to recent upgrades incl. on Hennepin Ave in Downtown & Uptown & on Dunwoody Ave! Great progress & still more room to improve.
Excited for Minneapolis to be recognized among the world's best cycling cities in the 2025 Copenhagenize Index!

We placed 44th overall and Bryant Ave S was specifically profiled as a global success story. Looking forward to moving up in future years!

Nov 13, 1833: "Father of Minneapolis Parks" Charles M. Loring is born. In the 1880s he begins acquiring the city's lakes and shorelines, and along with Horace Cleveland creates the finest public urban park system in the United States.

I don't think people realize how much a trillion dollars is.

Let's say you get paid a million dollars per day. That's a lot, right?

If you spend none of it and pay no taxes, you'll have a trillion dollars in approximately two thousand seven hundred (2700) YEARS.

No one should have that much.

We’ll keep on working on 12-2 and make the margin even bigger next time around!
We won every precinct with a total of 62.05% of the vote!

Thank you Ward 12, I look forward to representing and serving you for the next 4 years.

This appointment is such good news for the twin cities and @metcouncilmn.bsky.social !

Whether you’re going to work, the grocery, or a friend’s house, Twin Cities residents need transportation options that are safe & work for their wallet, ability, and age. Robin gets that and knows how to deliver.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz announced Tuesday that he's appointing Robin Hutcheson, a former U.S. Department of Transportation official, to chair the Metropolitan Council, starting in December. The Met Council has faced scrutiny in recent years over spending on public transit projects.
