great reminder to all of those Democrats and liberals saying that we need to abandon red states because they are gerrymandered into right wing autocracies where the vote isn’t in their favor instead of accepting that we are gonna have to fight for every American no matter where they are.

A bill to make sure poor people stay hungry, sick, and dying so rich people can be slightly richer. Actually evil. We need to make people understand it in those terms and not something about “budgets” or “house reconciliation bills”

My park has an appropriated budget of $3 million. That's it.
By way of comparison, that's 4 percent of the cost of just one of the fighter jets we've lost overboard in the last week.

The Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 created the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. I reread it today; nothing in the law allows a president to defund PBS and NPR. In fact, Congress specifically sought to insulate public media from political pressure.

They were already doing this for some of their courses last year. The Irish course is completely ruined, the real human voices have been replaced with AI ones which have their pronunciation all over the place, and in many cases make up sounds that don’t exist in any Irish dialect. It’s awful.
