In all seriousness, I think the real challenge is that the Daniel Craig reboot worked so well in CASINO ROYALE that it raises the bar really high to just do it again with another young actor.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Madison Grocery Share is a NEW mutual aid effort connecting Madison neighbors who’ve lost SNAP benefits with those who are willing to help with grocery costs.
They’re not a food pantry — just neighbors helping neighbors.

For some reason didn't expect tonight's AMC Screen Unseen to be CHRISTY. A little long, but solid. Features a ferocious performance by Sydney Sweeney, and Ben Foster's streak of playing the creepiest creeps in movies remains unbroken.

Mandatory / sincere appreciation of a wildly entertaining Brewers season. Pancakes, George Webb, most regular season wins, postseason, beating the Cubs, etc. And, though not exactly “entertaining,” the Uecker celebration of life. A season for the books. Glad we experienced it.

I kept taking pictures of the TV screen while watching Mr Scorsese in sheer astonishment at all the archival material (and how incredibly hot everyone was in the 70s). If you also find this picture of Scorsese and De Niro on a Caribbean vacation irresistible, you gotta watch this thing

these were better than the movie
Denny's Lonely Mountain Treasure (2012-2012): Part of the promotional menu for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", this item consisted of seed cake French toast cut into 9 squares, and served in a bowl with a side of cream cheese icing for dipping.

I guessed tonight's AMC Screen Unseen would be Richard Linklater's BLUE MOON, but it was the new movie from another filmmaker I really like, Kelly Reichardt's THE MASTERMIND. Part heist thriller, part dry comedy, part immersive portrait of 1970s America. I was really into it.
