We followed a court order and worked quickly to make sure that nearly 700,000 Wisconsinites who rely on FoodShare, including about 270,000 kids, had food to eat.

Now, President Trump wants to yank that money away from hungry kids, families, and seniors in Wisconsin? Hell no.

ICYMI: I sent a letter to our congressional delegation, urging Republicans to stand up for Wisconsin and stand up to the Trump Administration as they try to yank newly restored SNAP payments from 700,000 hungry kids, families, and seniors across our state.

Take good care, Wisconsin.

Republicans’ reckless decisions are causing prices to go up on everything from groceries to gas—Wisconsinites cannot afford to pay even more for healthcare, too.

Republicans must extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits and end this chaos. It’s that simple.

When families say they don’t know how they will afford life if Republicans jack up their health care costs, THIS is what they mean.

These are the prices that many families in Wisconsin will be forced to pay to get health care. This is what Republicans are OK with.

GREAT NEWS: the Trump Administration has been ordered to do the right thing and fund November FoodShare payments in FULL.

And, tonight, my administration worked as quickly as possible to get payments out for the nearly 700,000 Wisconsinites who depend on them ASAP.

If Republicans in Congress don't extend the ACA tax credits, a family of four earning $130,000 in Dane County could see their healthcare premiums double in 2026.

We are fighting to lower your costs, not raise them.

Day 37 of the longest federal government shutdown ever.

Republicans can and should end the shutdown without delay.

This dysfunction and chaos cannot continue. This is folks' lives and livelihoods we're talking about here. Republicans need to end the shutdown now.

Right now, we should be doing everything we can to make healthcare more affordable and more accessible, not more expensive and harder to find.

This is the price that a family in Eau Claire will have to pay for their health care plan next year, thanks to Republicans. Does that look affordable to you?

This is the last thing families need on top of their already skyrocketing costs.

Well, it's official, folks! This is now the longest federal government shutdown ever because President Trump and Republicans are dead set on making healthcare costs skyrocket, rather than working together with Democrats to make healthcare affordable and accessible for everyone.

I visited Superior last week to hear from folks about what's on their minds.

One thing couldn't be clearer: if we don't extend Affordable Care Act tax credits, so many Wisconsinites will pay more for their coverage. Republicans in Congress must get this done.

Working parents across our state depend on Head Start programs to provide care for their kids, but thanks to President Trump and Republicans' federal government shutdown these families are being left in the lurch.

It's Day 35, and we're well on our way to the longest federal government shutdown ever because Republicans refuse to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits that the majority of their constituents support.

There's no excuse for it. End the shutdown.
