"since clinton" explains more about the present than anyone wants to admit
We found that Donald Trump has granted clemency in at least a dozen criminal cases that originated during his first term.

No president since Clinton has used clemency to erase his own appointees’ actions on such a scale.

Going to keep beating this drum. For frequent subway riders, the elimination of the 30-day Metrocard is a backdoor 14% fare hike and it changes ridership behavior in a way that discourages discretionary trips. Both results are very, very bad!

It didn't get talked about by seemingly anyone but Mamdani himself but his public procurement plan for heat pumps, induction ranges etc is actually a capital-S Socialist policy, one of the few the city can execute. Paired with building code reform, this could be revolutionary
This is false and this article conflates a bunch of different state policies and throws in Mamdani supposedly backing away from climate even though he stood behind Local Law 97, which is the biggest thing NYC has done on this front.

God this Congress is just nuts. This corruption is absolutely off the charts.

And then only now the Democrats come up with one for Cory Mills? Are they incapable of doing anything if Republicans don’t give them permission first?

Unfucking believable. Who cares if Ralph Norman brought it? She was literally directly texting Jeffrey Epstein! She should not be on the intel committee!
Plaskett narrowly escapes censure over her Epstein texts
The Democratic delegate will keep her House Intel post after the House voted down a formal reprimand.

I remember being a kid and hearing Serbs living in America excuse or deny the genocide of the Yugoslav Civil Wars by invoking Jasenovac and the Ustase. It made me think we were a uniquely sick people until I heard people lose their souls by repeating the same things after 10/7.

Excellent point; it is tough to think of anything more click-worthy than the president angrily calling a female pool reporter “piggy” yet I have not gotten NYT push alerts like I did when Dartmouth restored its SAT/ACT requirement bsky.app/profile/plan...
Only a couple of major news outlets (CNN, USA) are covering this at all. You would think if the goal was clicks and views, this would be all over the media. If clicks are not the goal, it makes you think about: what is?

It's all been leading up to the "President Donald Trump is a white-hat pedophile, actually" gambit. All of American history has been leading up to it.
