Last night, I was talking to another parent who dealt with kids during COVID. I had a 2.5 year old and a 5 year old. One started kinder in fall of 2020.
I mentioned that I look at photos from pre 2020 with a different level of nostalgia, and he agreed. Parents still carry the stress of lockdown

I grew up with and embraced the weird parts of the internet.
The only place I ever thought was dangerous was /pol on 4chan. Not because it was counter my views, but because it was speed running fash radicalization via bogus race science.

No surprise there, we’re essentially picking up where we left off in 2020
the white house thinks brute force is, no pun intended, a trump card. they don’t anticipate pushback and they don’t know how to handle it with anything other than escalation. the issue is that each escalation is itself a gamble. if protesters refuse to back down, you’ve lost face. (1/?)
