Many who speak about DEI being removed from employment are forgetting disabled people in that conversation. It’s not surprising since most forget about us as a whole but this is going to make it so disabled people can barely get hired or receive any accommodations. We’re barely surviving as is.

It is *very* important to understand that Jews were never the only target of the 1930s Nazis and they are not the only targets of today’s Nazis. A Nazi salute is not only antisemitic. It is also racist, ableist, and queerphobic.

This is real and painful and if you are actually social justice oriented, you will take steps to mitigate this.
One thing that is really painful is seeing my fears about being abandoned because I can't do the right kind of organizing and community-building offline being shared as "yeah that's just how it is".

Last year I formed a grassroots group to find out why the DuPont Clinic’s lease was cancelled in Beverly Hills. We uncovered city officials & councilmembers working with antiabortion extremists. DuPont has mostly lost their lawsuit against the city & now the city is going after them for legal fees.
Don’t ever be lulled into thinking that ‘pro-choice’ states are immune from doing scary shit. And boy oh boy is this story scary.
