Good news! I found a discount for the moving truck that bring the rental cost to $900! That means we only need $85 to reach the goal! I know we can do it. I'll be paying the taxes and insurance, myself, this is just to cover the rental itself.

It's 3 AM on moving day and I've already been up for 2 hours and packed the last minute things. Nothing to do now but wait for it to be time to fetch the moving truck and get loading!

Today is the final packing day. I've disassembled my bed. I'll just sleep on the mattress on the floor, tonight. Once it is light out, I will clean Flirty's paddock and prep our car. Then there are a few other bits to finish.

Flirty had pre-travel vet inspection and we said goodbye to Dr. Conover, today. She’s had taken such good care of Flirty over the years. We will miss her.

Flirty's final visit with her vet here in Omaha is in a few hours. She needs her health inspection before we head to Michigan and our new home. I will be sad, my horses have been treated by this clinic for nearly 20 years. Dr. Conover has been Flirty's primary since I got her.

My anxiety drove me to get everything packed nearly a week ahead of time.
My anxiety failed to consider that having nothing left to do until moving day will make things works.
I work up at 12 AM, today. Hopefully I can go back to bed after a snack and a drive.../

I am CRUSHING this move. Everything but a few last minute things have been packed and a few clothes that are still in the wash. I have carried nearly all the boxes out to the garage except the ones still in progress, so it will be easy on loading morning.

Books given away. Between that and the CD collection. I am around 30 boxes lighter. Granted, the CDs were in double-shoe box sized storage containers. But still. This lightens the load considerably.
