Don’t make me tap the sign
stop showing me the faces and words of awful people I hate
until Brits come up with a retort to the mild ribbing of “your food isn’t as good as food from some other countries” that isn’t some form of “well at least we’re not fat stupid mass shooters without universal healthcare!” I think it’s fine to keep at it.

Apartment Therapy should focus on apartments only. I don’t ever want to see a house on there.
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

Whoa.

Famously I hate festivals but maybe this will be the year I finally go to Meltdown.
If you’ve been harnessing your hopes for Pavement to return to the Bay Area, today’s your lucky day: the band has been announced as the kickoff headliners for this year’s Mosswood Meltdown festival in Oakland.

I agree though I’ll add that prominent people and folks with a lot of followers tend to generalize about what this site is and does, but, as I said the other day, the experience the have isn’t really the experience the majority of people are having on here.

Going outside is still good, though.
my hot take is that I don't think it's this website specifically that's toxic. the Circumstances are toxic and nobody really knows what to do about it so they come online and scream. and if I may offer an alternative: actually going outside and screaming feels better.

Thank god Unrivaled is back or else I’d for real be spiraling right now. Whatever the Warriors do or don’t do is not my problem!

Ejections? Fouling out? Like water off a duck’s back to me.

Though to be fair nobody would need to get so upset about bad calls if the offense was even operating at an average level. They can’t freaking score.

Saying this again. Unbelievable.
NBA refs are completely unwilling to admit mistakes and the org doesn’t punish them for repeatedly making them. They just cover their own asses by asses and move on with no consequence. Watching a player spend five seconds in the key and then ejecting the defender for being upset is bitchmade

Justified.

The whistle has been atrocious all game, which is usually the case for the Warriors in LA, but tonight is on another level.
Steve Kerr fourth quarter ejection. He became increasingly upset at three different calls -- the late whistle and non-shooting foul on a Steph Curry floater, the non-goaltend on a John Collins block and then a Curry shooting foul. Chased after the refs and was tossed.
