Wasn’t there something about using FEMA to fund detainment camps, too?
remember folks, we cant have gun restrictions because if we do the federal government will occupy our streets, imprison people without due process, ship dissidents to foreign gulags and things of that nature

a few people have said this. JD's journey to Greenland is like an incel on a first date, starts with a few rape jokes to break the ice.
Nothing I can write makes this funnier than it already is.

Really feel like I’m losing my mind: government OBVIOUSLY cannot punish an individual law firm for hiring someone it disfavors! It’s ludicrously unconstitutional and I feel like without a day of law school I could argue the case. And yet the best paid lawyers in the country are folding?

Pete Hegseth in 2016: "If it was anyone other than Hillary Clinton, they would be in jail right now... because the assumption is in the intelligence community, if you are using unclassified means, there is the potential for and likelihood that foreign governments are targeting those accounts."

I mean very obviously Hegseth should resign, and if it were a Democratic administration this would be quickly be a consensus position.

So we’ve got two competing schools of what the Democratic Party should do next. One of them is hosting the largest political rallies in history in places like New Hampshire and Arizona, and the other one just got $120 million from Silicon Valley and is on a book tour.

Listening to to The Cadaver King and the Country Dentist on my walks. Great book. The James Baldwin quote,
“Ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have.” really resonates these days.

Public college was never “cheap.” It was funded by taxpayers who saw higher education as a public good. Then came tax cuts for the rich, budget cuts for education, and rising tuition. Now we’re told debt is the only way forward.

The balance between incompetence and malice in Trump-world:

Flight Aware can track most/all such flights. If DOJ "doesn't have the info," is that incompetence? Or malice? Or just lying?
Judge Boasberg wants clarification on the number of flights.

Gov't attorney Kambli refuses to answer. Says he doesn't even have the information.

Feels like the main thing you should know about the Democratic Party is that three years ago they controlled a trifecta after Trump tried to launch a coup, and they dismissed everyone who said they should impose accountability and said “no, we know how to beat him at the polls: kitchen-table ads”

Trickle down economics didn’t work like they said it would. But it did work as planned.
The wages of the richest 1% have skyrocketed 182% since 1979.

Meanwhile, the wages of the bottom 90% have seen just 44% growth.

Trickle down economics was always a hoax.

I wonder how Republicans who are now realizing they got hoodwinked and are angrily trying to voice their objections to their elected representatives at the various town halls feel about being called "paid Democratic operatives" by those self-same elected officials?

Does Pam Bondi know about this?
Your chances of dying by crashing into a fake wall painted by a 1940s cartoon character are slim, but never zero.
Someone made a Wiley E. Coyote style painted wall to see if Tesla’s autopilot would detect it and well…
