It's alarming how many people need to hear this: racism is not the natural and inevitable response to the presence of (the wrong number of) racialised Others. It is a learned response, and as such it is contestable and replaceable.

All these articles just feel like controlled opposition. Every single one is framed as “calling out” some negative consequence of AI, while humanizing it and making it sound more intelligent. Same thing OpenAI was doing with “help, the government needs to regulate our AI, it’s simply too smart now”.
