I think there's an audience for everything. It wasn't popular to enjoy anime when Sailor Moon originally aired, but I think you'd do well! Being able to live through having a community to discuss the show as an adult honestly sounds like fun! I say go for it, and you have at least one fan here. :D

As much as I’ve long had enormous respect for Dr. Offit, unfortunately I think he’s wrong about this. COVID taught us that death from disease will no longer “do the education.” We’re now well and truly screwed. Dr. Offit is working from the perspective of a pre-social media prepandemic world.
One of the things about trust is that it is efficient. It saves you having to invest a lot of time and effort in verification, and if placed in the right places, saves you a lot of pain.
