Elder advocate for the beautiful world I inherited but fear my great grandchildren will never get to see the beauty - all burned up and polluted with single-use plastics. Environmental degredation makes me so sad. But I love to grow food and flowers.

Also a community association should represent the needs of all the people in the neighbourhood, not just those who choose to drive.

5:10 P&P David is doing a good job of challenging E. May on her trust that Carney will meet the Paris Agreement and thus her yes vote. New fossil fuel subsidies in this budget - how can the Liberals protect Nature and honour FN? Her trust is IMO naive. What do grassroot Greens think?

majority of herring that is caught in B.C. is being shipped overseas. It is not being eaten locally. Why would you risk food security?

It's a complex subject. Government estimates only 7% of the CAN elderly use transit, 23% in Ottawa (1x/m). A recommended quick read: share.google/v4vfmRqReg0x...

That said, driving is a choice, and there are opportunities to turn that all around, and dedicated bus lanes Is a start to that.

UGH. The Carney AI-everything push just gets worse and worse. Sure, he's pouring our tax $$ into a "Canadian" company... that's then pouring that money into American companies. 😡

When a city has no vision, essential infrastructure gets tossed into the wood chipper of “community consultation”

Just do it. People adapt. And sometimes adaptation is hard. Boo hoo #ottawa
This person is speaking nonsense. What do you mean "just convert an alleyway into a road"?

I’m going to write councillors Devine and Johnson and say I support the bus lanes. Also I’ll follow up with the community association.

Make sure the mulch is not touching the trunk, leaving 2-3 inches of space between the trunk and your ‘donut’, to avoid rot. Wrapping your little tree with a tree wrap can also help protect it from the sun and sunscald.

Every year on the day of the budget vote the Mayor and all #OttCity Councillors should be required to take transit to work. Then we would see some serious budget changes.
Imagine if #OttCity mayor used transit all the time; even to get to rural and suburban photo op’s. I can think of a handful of councillors who take part in transit challenge or use it regularly; this should be the norm (along w/active transportation).
