The one thing I have done that helps me with handling the PTSD of having survived Some Shit is simply to materially, NON ABSTRACTLY, do something. I can make a blanket. I can hand out socks. I can buy people a cold drink or hot meal. I can edit a document. A dead person can't help. I can.
