Liberal Democrats are fighting to save the high street AND cut your cost of living.

Our plan would cut your energy bills, slash VAT for hospitality, and put £270 back in your pocket.

I know that flooding is something which my constituents are worried about.

The rainfall over the weekend raised concerns, particularly in South Abingdon, which has been badly hit recently.

The EA have flood barriers ready to go in the event of future flood threats in the area.

This illegal serious organised crime waste pile left feet from the the river Cherwell is a slow motion environmental time bomb. It must not be left to pollute our waterways. Defra must take charge, order immediate containment, & a full clean up of the site, by Ministerial Direction if necessary.
The River Cherwell is one of many sites at risk due to organised criminals dumping mountains of illegal waste.

The Environment Agency must clean up this mess and the National Crime Agency must crack down on this scourge.

The three worst English harvests in order - 2020, 2025, 2024

One year's worth of bread has been lost in the last 5 years

Not hard to see how shortages and ultimately rationing will become evident as climate breakdown bites ever harder

Have you awoken to anything wintry falling out of the sky?

A band of precipitation is moving south and whilst this is mostly falling as rain, don't be surprised to see some wet snow flakes. Some slushy deposits of snow are possible in places, mainly over higher ground ❄️

Along with everyone else, I am shocked by the horrendous dumping of tonnes of illegal waste by criminals that now threatens to pollute the River Cherwell.

⏰ Time is ticking. Please sign this petition to let the Government and Environment Agency know they need to act now and clean it up.

These are the voters that Labour strategists have made very clear over a long period of time that they don't want any more, and it's a message that has now been heard
I've been out canvassing quite a lot in London lately. Labour's vote has absolutely evaporated.... it is quite extraordinary to go to places where Labour were on 50-60% of the vote at the last locals and find nobody, or virtually nobody, supporting them.

Absolutely this. Industry needs certainty & stability above all else in the market to make the investments necessary. Consumers need confidence to transition to new technologies. Government is well behind on the targets for heat pumps which are essential for our Net Zero targets. We need more action
One week Ministers brief the press about cutting heat pump support and slashing energy efficiency budgets. The next, they’re urging people to apply for heat pump schemes they themselves have put in doubt.
