The Vatican achieved net-zero in terms of their electricity recently by deploying agrivoltaics at one of their wineries. I suspect that has gotten the practice quite a bit of publicity

Also, I doubt that many people know that Italy gets a larger share of their electricity from solar than does China

Good morning with good news: Renewables & nuclear are ~75% of EU's electricity, while fossil fuels drop ~30%-50% since 2016.

Coal is well below 10% from April-Sept & gas below 16% from March-Sept.

RE generated from ~41% to 57% during Jan-Sept 2025.

Nuclear produced ~21% to 25%.
