If I'm honest this Eagles team is exactly what Philly is and why it's my favorite place on the planet. Highest highs and the lowest lows sometimes all in the same day and when you win the outside world doesn't matter and you'll burn your city down because you're happy. America's Greatest City

The Lord of The Rings movies were rated PG-13. By current rules that means that each film could contain one use of the word "Fuck". Which line are you altering to insert the most useful swear word?

"I can't carry it for you, but I can Fucking carry you"

Tons of ways to appropriately share an explicitly Christian message for the occasion. Post a nativity scene, maybe even a Bible verse, whatever. But as always, they *want* to be offensive and insulting in mean-spirited taunting. That's their faith. They're about as Christian as the Marquis de Sade.
Here’s the U.S. government being officially religious in a country with no official religion.

This victim told a driver that she couldn't report Trump raping her because "They will kill me." In 2021, another victim said that Epstein told her girls who don't behave are fed to alligators and took her where they die. He threatened to kill her and her son.

Yep, it’s as bad as the headline implies. Wood assumes that Miller and Homan would be just delighted to sit down with 60 Minutes instead of killing the story with silence. And he assumes Bari’s good faith, because sure.

All of these bootlegged copies of the 60 Minutes segment flooding my feed (saying, ‘Watch it quick! Before it disappears!’) makes me feel like I’m in the Soviet Union and just got some black market foreign newspaper I need to hide under a floorboard in my house.

And they said bari Weiss couldn’t push cbsnews into new formats and find new audiences
It's the least important element to this, but I find it fascinating on an aesthetic level too.

Americans are watching a bootleg broadcast that someone in Canada recorded off their TV. And people are copying it to various platforms (however imperfect visually) to get it out as widely as possible.

You might question her methods, but credit to Bari Weiss: her leadership has pushed 60 Minutes into new formats and attracted a bunch of new viewership outside the normal broadcast audience.
here's the 60 minutes cecot video part 1 of 5 - recorded/uploaded by and all credit to @jasonparis.bsky.social

I just reduced background noise, chopped the 14 minutes into 3 minute segments each compressed under 100 mb for bsky's limits, cropped and rotated a few degrees for easier viewing on here

If you needed more evidence that Bari Weiss isn't the sharpest crayon in the box, the fact that she (a) personally spiked the story (b) in a way that left her fingerprints all over the decision (c) at the last possible minute, thus guaranteeing maximal exposure and blowback.
