1/ It is not at all surprising that Israel's government loves a definition of antisemitism that protects against the expression of policy positions that criticize Israel. But calling such policy positions antisemitic does not make them so.

The Trump admin’s censorship agenda is chilling & relentless. I counted 200+ attempts in 2025 to muzzle press, protesters, public servants, judges, law firms, universities, corporations. But resistance has blunted this campaign & we must fiercely defend free speech: www.nytimes.com/2025/12/31/o...

Another order finding Trump Admin statements to be thoroughly disingenuous--this time, in the course of refusing to allow the Admin to defund the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by not asking for funds from the Federal Reserve.

Now off-limits to all decent residents in the DC area.

I had started to see a campaign urging folks not to "punish the musicians" by boycotting the Kennedy Center. But now that his is the Trump Center, whom do they think will be coming?

I haven't been to the Kennedy Center since the Trumpists took over. I do feel for the fine artists who careers depend on the place. But putting Trump's name on the place makes it even harder to go back.
The Kennedy Center will be renamed the “Trump-Kennedy Center” after its Trump-appointed board voted to impose the name change.
