Fantastic autumn day in my part of the world, passed loads of folk out enjoying the weather including a mate who's had some surgery, and can't wipe his arse properly. Be thankful for what you have lads.
Walking through Rochdale in the early 90s, we passed a handsome fella walking on his own, who gave us a lovely big smile (not a common occurrence in the dale at that time). It was Take That's Mark Owen.

This. The whole revoking citizenship is quite unserious politics that’s a sign things aren’t going very well, I think. Just one of many things that show a lot of weakness in leadership.
Shamima Begum was the beginning of something in so many ways, one of which was 'the last government's inability to just do its job properly (in this case by passing legislation that would have allowed it to prosecute her here at home) and instead going 'no option but to undermine all our rights'.
There should be literally no circumstances, ever, where citizenship is can be revoked. If you literally sign up to fight for an opposing army in a war, then we should prosecute you for treason not revoke citizenship

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

I dislike AI because it's exploitative, made by the worst people in the world, and used primarily to justify firing people. But it really does not help that almost every AI defense I've seen employs one of several rhetorical moves that immediately make me class the author as an unserious person.

These technologies can and are being used to create lifelike images and videos of actual living women and girls. For what I think are pretty obvious gendered civil rights reasons, it needs to be a recognized civil cause of action to create an AI image or avatar of a woman without her consent.
