Exactly the same for me, have not had a car for years with this scheme filling the gap. This will leave a huge environmental hole is London.
Zipcar is shutting down its UK operations, basically the only car club that worked in London. Massive kick to anyone who tries to live in capital without owning a car. Having been a customer for 17 years and used Zipvans to move house repeatedly, this is.... very bad! (Zipcar is owned by Avis)

Why on earth isn't the @tottenhamhotspur.com @arsenalfc.bsky.social Women's match at the Tottenham stadium? I'm guessing it's because the Gunners would fill it and it'll be like a home game... 😄

let yourself feel stupid when

I cannot tell you how many parents I met across the last few events who said that comics started their kids reading. Just comics. It’s the one thing that worked. 🫡
I’m just humbly suggesting that, should the publishing industry want to tackle the crisis in reading for pleasure rates, and we have research suggesting that there’s no crisis in reading for pleasure rates amongst children who read comics, that there’s maybe a relatively simple solution right here.

If you’re in Edinburgh, go see Robin. He’s one if those ‘excellent comedians’ you sometimes hear about.
Very few people coming to Ice Cream for a Broken Tooth but I have decided not to worry - I will create different experiments every night- and if there are eight people there , so be it -I will be fully committed

The problem with insisting that someone is strong enough to fight or defeat cancer is that it implies that others who aren’t strong enough are just not trying hard enough. Cancer doesn’t care if you have a strong will. And this attitude just makes things harder for the sick.

Today UK authors are protesting against Meta for stealing our work to train their AI model. Authors earn an average of £7000 per year, we are not rich, and yet a trillion dollar company decided it didn’t want to license our work fairly as it was “too expensive”

Theft is not a valid alternative.
