One of the stranger aspects of all this anger is the constant belief that people only have a different opinion to you because they are paid to; it is unthinkable that somebody might just disagree with you on their own dime.

Made a comment on Twitter about Elon’s weird rant about immigration (I know, I know) and even though I have muted it, I have that weird out-of-body feeling of knowing that somewhere, right now, some people are being really angry at me.

Cardiff was joy! Tonight and tomorrow in Bristol Hippodrome, always a favourite venue; and then Inverness, Dundee and Aberdeen. Big week!

I don’t know about you, but I’m still sort of processing that the US president stood up in the UN and declared that London is about to be under Sharia law, and the response has been “actually, that won’t happen” rather than “Jesus, that is insane.”

Language learners! Currently combining Duolingo, Ella Verbs and Language Transfer to learn some Spanish. What might you recommend for spoken/writing practice?
Good sources for teachers, whether zoom or IRL?
And/or an app to will suggest topics and correct efforts?

So, Hounslow council have banned Lime bikes, and licensed Forest and Voi; neighbouring Richmond has licensed Lime and banned the others. So every bridge over the Thames is now Checkpoint Charlie, with loads of Lime bikes parked on one side and loads of Forest and Voi on the other. Top work everyone!

Ah, Dublin, you gorgeous beast. Doing the last pre-summer gigs of the tour here this weekend, and then back for the UK in Autumn and Dublin again in January. And then Europe and the world yadda yadda. Look, just let me enjoy the nice weather and the city looking great.

I did the first ever Bikram Hot Sweat Comedy Gig in Parr Hall today. A chance for the audience to both laugh and clear the toxins out. Not sure if it’ll taken off as an idea, but thanks to the audience for joining me for the adventure. Time for a pint.
